THINK ABOUT WHAT, EXACTLY?

From São Paulo, at 20 years old I introduce myself as Alec — but you can call me Nelso.

At 9 years old I discovered, thanks to the internet, one of the greatest passions of my life: content creation.

Thanks to YouTube, I was able to develop intimacy with video editing and graphic design, and from there everything fell into place.

Today I do freelance work for various audiences as well as hobbies like programming and music.

YOUTUBER... OR ALMOST

At 9 years old, my biggest dream was to have a YouTube channel, and that made me go after learning the processes online. One thing leading to another, over the years, I became very interested in the editing part and was always searching about it on YouTube. This path led me to something that, after about 3 years, made me lose interest in having a Channel and dive headfirst into the world of Editing.

DESIGNER

In 2017 I created an edits channel, at that time my friends shared a lot of anime/music edits and I thought all those beat transitions with zoom etc. were very cool. Soon I wanted to know how everything I thought was awesome was made. In this case, there was no other way, I fell in love at first sight and once again one thing leading to another, gradually I fell in love with another area that came along, Graphic Design.

2023 WAS THE YEAR

2022, already living alone and doing freelance work as a Graphic Designer for companies, I met friends who worked with Editing, and influenced by them in 2023 I decided to reinstall Premiere and After Effects, and dedicated myself to learning as much as possible about video editing and everything this area could encompass.

This is where the description you read above begins, all this experience living on the internet and exploring possibilities brought me to where I am today. I'm passionate about what I do, even though it's difficult, and I always keep seeking to evolve as an editor and designer.
